Since I've been so busy, I took a break from blogging for a while but I'm back! I never got the chance to share with you all my experience at the Teen Vogue Fashion U Two day event. It took place at the Hudson Theater in Times Square, NY. Let me tell you, It was one of the most amazing experiences of my entire life. I lived in the city for a couple of days and I loved every moment of it. Getting to wake up to the fresh scent of Starbucks coffee a few mornings was my favorite part, I got to meet many amazing Vogue editors, Tv Personalities, and super models. I made genuinely nice people who were all like me. Ambitious young fashionista's. It all started on the night of the welcoming express event. I bought a cute white peplum top, as I shopped around I got a few compliments on my outfits and made a few friends. It was so easy to make friends being in an atmosphere where every one is so much a like. I started to question if I could really see myself living in the city, because of how good of an experience the seminars were. Times Square is only nice to visit every once in a while, but I still had the time of my life.

Finding Myself In California.........
Wow, Its been a long time coming! 9 months since I last posted something, so many babies have been born since we last spoke! So much has happened for me in the past 9 months, from meeting different people, to changing my interest career wise as an adult. I am now 19 years of age, and I feel like this is my prime time. That one last hoorah before the early 20's. I have so much to tell you guys!! First off, lets discuss the title... I visited Los Angeles, California for my very first time this year for a week and let me tell you guy's, it was the best trip ever! I was able to see many things at first hand that you only see on TV. I couldn't believe I was actually there.
The atmosphere in California is completely different from Rhode Island (Obviously) haha, but I learned on my own that, that is where I belong for sure. I seen a few awesome apartments, and fell in love with one! Oh, and you all are probably wondering... "What the heck is Tomoia up to now....?" well, my life goals right now are to finish up my next semester at Rhode Island College, and then later on transfer to FIDM or AI in the city of Los Angeles. I also changed my major since we last spoke, back then I was an art major, but I am now majoring in Business & Management! What made me change majors had a lot to do with aging, and just understanding what I want to do most with my life.
One day, I in fact will follow in the footsteps of my great high school mentor Karen Beebe, She is the owner of Queen of Hearts & Modern Love here in Providence, RI and I would love to own my own boutique filled with retail merchandise and also my own personal designs. I'm hoping to open my store in a foreign country, I refuse to own a business in America, that's my own personal view (I know I'm weird lol), but enough about me and what I'm doing... How have you all been? I'm always here to talk or give any kind of advice! Email me with any questions, Tomoiadrummonds@gmail.com
Have a beautiful Saturday my loves! Xoxo, Tomoia

Let's take a walk.....
Today I wore a red dress, with cute draped detailing at the bottom of it. It was a bit chilli outside so I threw on my most favorite button up, that has studs on the collar that changed my feminine look into something a little more chic. I added cute winter socks as an accessory to make the red on my dress pop out a little more. I also wore my favorite combat boots featured in my last post from Steve Madden. They were so comfortable!

Oxfords
Oxfords.
The Past.
Oxfords originated in the 1800's. They we're very popular shoes, with there well known laces, and vintage look. Oxfords we're only worn by men. They we're worn in circus shows, movies, to church etc. They weren't as admired in the 1800s as much as they are now, but they were very trendy at all times.
The future.
Oxfords are now a very trending topic. There wonderful colors, and different styles have drawn people back to its urban look. They are well known being worn with vintage dresses, and high top socks. Oxfords are personally our favorite type of shoes.
